SeaFort completed a majority investment in Parts for Trucks, Inc. in 2022 as its first investment in SeaFort Capital Fund II. In partnership with the existing management team, the investment will focus on continuing Parts for Trucks' growth strategy by introducing new products and services and pursuing expansion within Canada through greenfield initiatives and strategic acquisitions.
Business Description
Parts for Trucks was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Through its more than 100-year operating history, the business has grown to become a leading independent distributor of parts and provider of service to the heavy-duty truck industry in Canada. Parts for Trucks currently owns and operates 32 parts warehouses and 15 service facilities from coast to coast, and employs more than 600 employees.
